ACCURE selected by Econergy for a five-year agreement to reduce operating costs and unlock portfolio value across 3 GWh European BESS assets

Aachen, Germany. ACCURE Battery Intelligence has been selected by Econergy, an international independent power producer (IPP) of utility-scale renewable energy projects, as its predictive analytics partner to support the commissioning and continuous monitoring of 3 GWh of Econergy’s European battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio

The five-year agreement builds on a successful initial contract at Econergy’s 102 MWh Swangate BESS site in the UK. ACCURE were selected to also leverage its commissioning expertise across 25+ projects across the seven geographies Econergy currently operates in, all expected to be operational by the end of 2027.

ACCURE will support the commissioning of each asset and work alongside Econergy’s asset management team, providing hands-on technical expertise as the portfolio scales. The focus of the partnership is practical and financial: reducing operating expenditure (OpEx), strengthening contractual oversight, and unlocking additional revenue opportunities across the portfolio.

By identifying stranded energy, validating performance against warranties and technical specifications, and providing independent battery analytics, ACCURE enables more efficient O&M decision-making, acting as an extension of Econergy’s team while supporting a lean operating model. This improves cost control while protecting long-term asset value. At the same time, deeper performance insight supports more informed market participation strategies, helping assets capture available revenue without increasing risk exposure.
