Constantine Energy Storage Services is among the first to adopt ACCURE's updated platform

The platform flags SOC errors, cell imbalance, and emerging safety risks weeks before they impact availability, with an independent, cell-level record of every site's condition.

Aachen, Germany - 3 September 2026 - ACCURE and Constantine Energy Storage Services are scaling their partnership, with Constantine moving a six-site battery energy storage portfolio onto ACCURE's updated platform. The agreement covers Ocker Hill, Capenhurst, Whitegate, Monk Fryston, Legacy and Iron Acton, supporting each through commissioning and into continuous monitoring as it reaches commercial operation.

ACCURE's work starts before the assets earn revenue. During commissioning, ACCURE reviews data week by week, catches the defects and configuration errors that would otherwise limit output for years, and recommends the fixes that bring each site to commercial operation on schedule. Faults resolved at this stage cost a fraction of what they cost once a site is operational.

Once a site is operational, the priority shifts to keeping it safe, available and earning the revenue they were built to deliver. The platform continuously monitors SOC error, cell and rack imbalance, and rack availability across all sites. When an issue is detected, the alerts engine identifies the likely root cause and recommends prioritised next steps, all backed by detailed BMS, EMS, and PCS data at the unit level.

Capacity loss is the slower threat, and the more expensive one to discover late. The platform's degradation analysis shows where capacity is being lost and what is driving it, so the team can adjust operation to slow the loss and plan around it rather than react to it. Every reading is independent of the OEM and traceable to cell level, giving Constantine the data to enforce capacity, round-trip efficiency and availability guarantees and to demonstrate asset condition to insurers. Evidence only counts when someone can act on it, so ACCURE's performance engineers work directly with Constantine's team, from scheduled reviews to live troubleshooting, turning each diagnosis into a decision the team can defend.

Dr. Kai-Philipp Kairies, CEO and Co-founder of ACCURE, said:

"Across a portfolio, the faults that cost the most are the quiet ones. Our job is to catch those early, work with Constantine’s team to understand what sits behind them and what to do next, and give them a record of asset condition that holds up independently of the OEM. That is what protects both the revenue and the life of the assets."

Mike Ryan, Commercial Director at Constantine, said:

"With our BESS assets, what matters to us is knowing early when something is off, whether that is a rack out of balance or a site losing capacity, and having an independent read on it rather than taking the OEM's word. The platform gives us that, and ACCURE's engineers help us act on it. It means we can keep the sites available, hold our position when a fault is disputed, and protect what the assets are worth over their life."

About Constantine Energy Storage

Constantine Energy Storage (CES) was founded in 2022 to construct, own and operate best-in-class, institutional-grade battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the UK. CES currently has 171MW of operational capacity across three sites and is expanding its portfolio to more than 1GW, with a number of further projects in commissioning or late-stage construction. As the portfolio grows, CES is focused on maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and long-term asset performance, supported by specialist partners and independent insights that strengthen operational decision-making and asset oversight. Through its growing BESS portfolio, CES is helping provide the flexibility and grid services required to support the UK’s transition to a decarbonised electricity system.

By combining cutting-edge artificial intelligence with deep expert knowledge of batteries, we bring a new level of clarity to energy storage.  Today, we support customers worldwide, helping optimize the performance and safety of their battery systems.

About ACCURE Battery Intelligence

ACCURE Battery Intelligence pairs an award-winning battery analytics platform with hands-on performance engineering for grid-scale battery storage. The platform combines artificial intelligence with physics-based battery models to give owners and operators an independent, cell-level view of their assets, and ACCURE's performance engineers work alongside clients to act on it: capturing the revenue their assets were built to deliver, lowering operating costs and mitigating risk. Founded by battery researchers from RWTH Aachen University, ACCURE is the assurance and outperformance layer for grid-scale BESS, supporting more than 24 GWh of capacity worldwide. We work with battery owners and operators, and the insurers and financial institutions that back them, across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America.
