Transform a world of batteries into a world of battery intelligence. Together. For our futures.
Do you care if your phone battery lasts long? If electric cars accelerate as promised at the dealership? Would you say renewable energy matters to you?
Then you’re in the right place. Batteries are indispensable to our everyday lives and our future on Earth. We need to get the most out of them. Make them reliable, safe, and long-lasting as possible.
This is what we do with next gen battery analytics and software.
What makes us tick? How do we work together? And what is important to us? Our core values reflect our belief in a workplace where people and company thrive together.
Engineering is at the core of our ideas and so is driving the energy transition towards a zero-carbon future. Are you looking for a job with meaning and purpose? With your work in the advancement of energy storage you will actively contribute to a renewable energy future.
As a truly international and hybrid organization, we work from all over the world. Whatever fits your current lifestyle, we offer full-time and part-time positions. But no matter if remote or in one of our offices, full or part-time, it’s always #teamaccure.
Being diverse makes us better. Diverse in our nationalities, experiences, backgrounds, genders, ages, and approach to do things. Some of us are very structured, some of us are very creative. We appreciate different perspectives make a whole. And we are always united in our common vision of a clean energy future.
Embracing and integrating accountability into everything we do, individually and collectively, to honor our commitments and the reputation of our company. We take ownership of our work and strive to deliver excellence. Always focusing on finding solutions, not complicating problems.
“Our people team takes care of all things people and culture. We're continuously working on keeping ACCURE an inspiring, productive, and fun workplace both in our headquarters and for all our remote colleagues.”
“Our battery chapter consists of battery experts with diverse backgrounds in research and industry. Based on our battery know-how, we develop, implement, validate, and scale up pioneering battery diagnostic algorithms.”
“The customer success team is battery experts helping our customer get the most value out of their battery data. We’re also the link between our customers and our internal development teams to drive continuous improvement of our products and services.”
“Our infrastructure chapter builds distributed and highly scalable services to process terabytes of data. We use established and new technologies to provide the tools data analysts and engineers need to build our final product.”
“The marketing team works with all departments and experts to bring valuable content to our community. We geek out on the different battery applications of our customers and are not limited to creativity and articulate communication. We also measure what we do and always aim to do more of what works well.”
“Our software team uses best practices to design and develop our SaaS, with a tech stack aimed at improving the performance of our products and making the best use of our time. We have a remote-first development culture with the benefit of a lovely office in the heart of Aachen.”
“I enhance and expand our products with cool new features and find customized solutions. I’m involved in many different areas and topics that help define our product vision. Did I mention, I was ACCURE's first female team member, way back when the company started!”
A resumé, CV, or detailed LinkedIn profile is great. If you like adding a personal touch, tell us why you’d like to join our team or give us a fun fact about you – we prefer the personal touch way more than the standard cover letter.
If your application is a good match, we’ll send you questions to get a better understanding of who you are. These questions will consist of 1-2 position specific questions and 2-3 general questions. We don’t expect you to write an essay, a few sentences would be great.
This first interview will be with someone from our People & Culture team or an ACCURE leader. We want to get to know each other better – for us to find out how you fit into the team and for you to figure out if we’re a team you’d like to join. We’ll ask you questions, but really, we’d like you to ask us questions that help you to better understand who we are.
We’re both happy with the first impression? Then let’s go ahead with the “tech talk.” In this video call you’ll meet someone from the team. You can go on a deep-dive about day-to-day tasks, what you can expect from ACCURE, and what we’d like to see from you. If you’re interviewing for a tech position, then we’ll explore your knowledge of our tech stack.
So far so good? Then let’s move to our challenge or coding task to work on in your own time. This is not free work (we send out the same task again and again). We do it to give you a feeling for what your work will be like. And it helps us better understand what we can expect from you.
The challenge made you hungry for more and we’re happy with your approach? Perfect, then we’ll move to the final stage where you to meet your future team members – either another video call or an in-person meeting, depending on your preference and location.
You liked your future team and cannot wait to become part of the bunch? If we feel the same way, then we’ll discuss an individual offer with you. Once we’ve signed the contract, it’s official 🎉
